Title: Edition 30 newbie
Post by: Hurdy on 01 February 2007, 16:02
Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been looking at various forums recently and this one looks the best by far.

I have had several VAG cars in the past, some standard some "breathed upon"

Lupo 1.4s
Lupo 1.6 GTI
Golf Mk4 2.0 petrol GTI
Golf Mk4 GT TDI 130 (superchipped)
Audi A3 1.9TDI Quattro (superchipped)
Audi A3 TDI 140 DSG (superchipped)

Currently I drive a Mk5 GT TDI 140 DSG in shiny Steel Grey with a few mods (Superchipped, Stainless steel exhaust and GTI rear valance plus 17" Black MOMO corse alloys)

I recently took the plunge and ordered an Edition 30 GTI after going down to my local stealers and seeing one in the showroom. One look and I was hooked

Reflex Silver
5 door (due to family)
DSG
IPod prep and centre armrest
Rear tints from B pillar

Didn't think it needed any more although I may add some dealer accessories.

Thanks for looking in and hope to post regularly from now

Hi Hurdy, welcome.

Get yourself into the Mk5 section when you have a mo - there's a number of threads running in there with regards to the ED30, I'm sure you'll be made to feel very welcome. There's a number of fairly technical people knocking about in the Mk5 section too, so it should be a good resource for you.

Hi Daz,

Tints are factory fit in dark smoke for £165

I don't know if they do tints at the dealers though. If they did I suspect it would be pricey
