your only options really are scrap yard/eBay or main dealer.

Try checking this out, you need to register to access the site, so not sure if link will work, but it contains part numbers and a blown up diagram of the side skirts that you're interested in.

they're nothing spectacular, but fitted as standard to all gti's and early VR6's as far as I know. Oh and to SE models, possibly GL.

haha cheers mate...

thing is my mk3 has colour coded bumpers...so i think id have to paint the skirts green if i got them! Just finished painting that bloody spoiler...took the whole weekend!!

have to go to halfords to get the dragon green touch up set to touch up a few bits that have chipped...just tidy it up a bit..

Then im gonna stick it on! :)

haha and there was me thinking that i just had to spray the spoiler green and stick it one...10 min job?

the side skirts are a main dealer only part. £24 was what i paid for mine last year. ECP said they were too delicate to transport . don't know why cos they are solid plastic.

£24 inc VATmis just for the long top section of the side skirt from main dealer, that's per side. you need the self adhesive sticky strip, another rubber mount strip, the two plastic trims that cover up the sill and the end cap.... I'd guess it would be close to a hundred to get new from main dealer.

£24 was for the outer trim , both end caps and the strip the outer trim connects to that is made of metal on the original part. thats the bit that goes rusty causin the outer bit to drop off. I got mine from Gilders in sheffield.

they don't seem to have any overall pricing system. I guess cos they're franchises they can charge what they want.

They were on the GL & SE as well I see to recall.

Well, I say "recall", there's a GL outside my house with them on it.
