HELLO ALL IM PLANNING ON GOING DOWN THIS EURO LOOK FOR MY GOLF MK3 GTI
BUT HOW FAR DYA GO ...WHAT IS THE EURO LOOK EXACTLY !?
WHAT DO YOU THINK . HAVE YOU GONE THIS WAY ..
ANY IDEAS FOR ME ??..
PUT YA THOUGHTS HERE FOR ME ..THANKS ALL
-
Personally i think mk1 n mk2 look the nuts euro style, its the size of the mk3 that will get in your way i think!
Give it a go thou, prove me wrong!
-
YEAH I KNOW , BUT IM SICK OF STICKING KITS ON MY CARS ....WANT IT MORE PLAIN AND SIMPLE
EG -COLOUR CODING /SMOOTHING/VENTO FRONT END!
CRYSTAL LIGHTS ETC ETC
.....
-
Do that, less is more, always has been, always will!
-
Small Phat Wheels are a definate must do, but Not sure if the bulk of a mk3 would carry it off
-
ah i see you are testing ideas for a respray :P
-
NAH . CANT AFFORD A RESPRAY BUT A MATE CAN DO THE SMOOTHING ETC FOR NEXT TO NOTHING AS HE HAS ACCESS TO A BODY SHOP
-----------
RE WHEELS . YEAH IVE SEEN SOME MK3 WITH SMALL WHEELS AND THEY LOOK GOOD BUT IVE GOT 17ICH ON MINE AND THINK THE ARCHES SUIT IT BETTER AS ITS A BIG CAR .......
CHEERS

Get a set of porsche rims 16" put your plastic arches in the bin, colour code the bumpers, vento front end, drop it to the floor.
-
mmm now theres a thought ??....that does sound quite appealing dosent it
arent porshe wheels a nightmare to fit though???..
can anyone help re this , does it cost a fortune to get them to fit , if so i cant do it , im skint really
but if its a good/cheap-ish option i may just consider that!!
-
i would put full red rear clusters on the back. Maybe M3 ones (red and the bottom, crystal at the top) 8)
-
im after Porsche 16'' wheels too ::)
If your mk3 has a 5 stud pattern i think they fit straight on.
If your mk3 has a 4 stud pattern then you can use H&R hub adapters that convert your hubs for the Porsche rims to fit. awesomegti.com sell them i think
-
hey dizzie.....have em thanks....
have got m3 rear lights /rs badges.
vento front end on way
lowered suspension
17inch wheels
delocked /clour coded handles
dtm mirrors
crystal front fogs etc on way too
binning wheelarches
;D

You need h&r 5 stud hub adapters if you have 5studs already because the porsche rims have a different pcd or something. They cost ?200 a set so they aint cheap plus ?250 for a set of rims then about ?200 for tyres not cheap then you have to get the f**k*rs polished. :-\
