Title: What's the "set" button for next to the shift lever?
Post by: TeddyKGB on 31 January 2007, 20:31
Until I get my English manual - what does this button do and how do I use it?

tyre pressure monitor, after you check your tyre pressures , press and hold button and it memories your tyre pressure settings, so if you have a slow it tells you on your dashboard computer

yes, i did, had a nail in the centre of the tyre and yes it works, tells you in your highline computer you have low pressure and illustrates which one too

Does anyone know what pressure difference the tyre has to be to 'make' the icon illuminate?.

I also have the 'peasantline' computer. Checked the other day and tyre pressure was 29 after I knowingly set the indicator to 35psi!.

Couple of months ago, got into the car not knowing the tyre was completely flat and drove down the road.  It was only the car pulling to oneside that I knew one was flat, but no illuminated icon
