Title: Exhaust system query

Hey guys, Im after a new exhaust for my Mk2 GTi and im wanting something a bit special. At the moment I have this ugly peice of crap hanging out of the back of my car and its blowing, as is the centre section

Problem is, ive looked at all the Magnex etc systems and im not a fan of a huge tailpipe or the like. Is there anywhere I can get a stainless system that resembles the original system??

JBS autodesigns in chesterfield have these on offer at the moment, think its 10 or 15% off.

I've heard milltek do a copy of the VAG tailpipes :wink:

Oh it does say 16v but am I right in saying that the 16v and 8v exhaust system is the same?

No they aren't.  They have a different diameter pipe as far as I know.

That looks very sexy, not seen one on a car before, whats the noise like I don't want anything boy racer or boomy? Was looking at a jetex but might defect now.....

milltek appreciation thread again lol, ive got one myself a G60 system on my 8v and its lush, it sounds gorgeous when you boot it but quiet and reserved when your normally driving. i recommend one

Ok new system arrived today and ive got to say it looks very well made. Mind you you would expect so for £300 quid!
