Title: Just had my private viewing
Post by: Cupra Turbo on 22 January 2004, 23:31: There was a 1.9TDI 105Bhp in silver and a 2.0TDI 140Bhp in black.

Both were nice cars, very solid etc

but the handbrake and the cup holders were the wrong way around, the cup holders should've been next to the passenger seat and the handbrake next to the drivers seat, like in a mk4... but noooo it was the other way around. LOL

Eh? My cup holders come out of the dash. Do other Mk4's have them near the handbrake? ???

Post by: jv on 23 January 2004, 12:36: went along to my local VW dealer last night for the mk5 launch. got free wine, competition entry and most importantly a free 'Golf' branded pen!

I had a stella, dont drink wine very much... and lotsa snack party food! WOO :D

The cup holders, are near the handbrake im sure... but its the wrong way round on the mk5.

(could be the passat where theere near the handbrake

anywayz, i took pics with my fone (LOL) so i'll find a laptop at work with a infra-red port and get them online sumtime.

PS: incase u woner why the link has GTi16v in it, its cos I registered it b4 i got my 8v and didnt realise when I was 18 the insurance companies would tell me *where to go*
