Hi there,
I've got a MK4 GTI 1.8T on a 2001 plate and every 3 months or so the engine warning light comes on. It happened yesterday so I got my VagCom cable out and laptop and took a look to see what it was, it's the same as previously had:
Address 01: Engine
Controller: 06A 906 032 DR
Component: 1.8L R4/5VT 0002
Coding: 11500
Shop #: WSC 00028
3 Faults Found:
17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-00 - Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose
P1137 - 35-00 - Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Rich
P0411 - 35-10 - Sec.Air Inj.Sys. Incorrect Flow Detected - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000
Now to me this sounds like a loose hose or something but would anyone know what these are the symptoms for? and any advice on how to fix it without too many pennies being spent.
Thanks
Ed
