I'm sure RubJ has already told you PAS setups and Electric window gubbins are a must.

why a g60 one? my gti one is a space saver.

you will also need the boot carpet.

Scrappys are the way to go. Everytime i ring a ''specialist''  they never have the part i want or its over priced.

Basically a spare wheel that has the resemblance of a frisbee, reason beign the GTI spare wheel well isnt deep enought to hold a proper size spare without bulging the carpet.

U takin the piss eh?

Its a bit late, but heres my short list:
Variable intermittant wiper relay from a MK3/Passat (#99)
Early Passat/Corrado leccy mirror loom/motors & switch will also fit, look for the square switch in the door. Glass is different though.
Early Corrado/Passat leccy window loom has auto open/close too, very  Again, look for switches mounted in the door card.
MK3 black washer piping, looks much nicer than manky yellow MK2 stuff
Fiat punto rear wiper arm, smoooooth
MK3 stalks if you have a 90 spec MK2
Tinted interior light, rare :)
Late MK2 hard plastic scuttle trays

g60 one fits over g60 brakes, gti one doesn't!

Specifically then you mean a 15" 4 stud space saver, as found in the Golf G60, Corrado, Passat, MK3 Golf & Vento :)

Which passat and mk3's are they in? Every 4 stud passat or mk3 at my local scrappy has a 14" spare, i could only find 15" with 5 studs

Variable intermittant wiper relay from a MK3/Passat (#99)
Can you fit these to mk2's?

They do indeed mate, they work by switching on the intermittent, hen when you cant see again switch off and switch on again and tthat duration between sets the delay time

Oh cool, I'm getting one of those! So I just need to find a relay with #99 on it and switch it for the one I have? While I'm at it how do you tell what kind of relay you're looking at? I've been meaning to get a few to upgrade the headlight loom - If I'm pulling them off scrapyard cars how do I know which ones to go for that will handle the current?

check out my fusebox faq, theres a mostly complete list of relay numbers on there ;)
For switching relays, you'll need some #53s :)

I think I can tick off all of John's list  thanks to the man himself of course

Corrado electric window control box is cool though, glad we went to the trouble of sourcing it and getting it in my car. That along with the very simple wiper relay swap are I think the best mods on my car.

Just back from the nearest scrappy - 2 30A relays and a #99 intermittent wiper one for €10! The 1 setting wipers were bugging me a bit, I was even toying with the idea of potentiometers etc but this is a far better solution  it even drizzled lightly on the way home so I could use it

Relay number 18form VAG cars, grey tops to them, I've used for my headlight loom to keep it VAG
