Title: 99' 1.8t prob rear passenger floor
Post by: gonzorock on 29 January 2007, 22:55
I have water coming in somewhere and it's only on the rear passenger side floor, does anyone have the same
problem as i can't find where it's coming from.

It's doing me head in as it's starting to stink!!

Thanks

Try checking the seals around your doors and window may be that the rubber is damaged and is letting water in

All the rubbers on and around the door seem to be fine

It's just a patch on the passenger rear floor thats wet.

Will phone local VW garage and see wat they say.

Does anyone else have this problem????

I wonder if you have a problem with the pipe taking water to the rear screen wash, sure I read on the forum somewhere that this pipe can leak behind the trim on the 'C' panel (between rear door and hatch) - perhaps the water is running down into the footwell.
