Hello people,
Started this post to get people view/opinions with the 'euro style' what do you all think of it? Anyone started any projects that are euro style?
I want to try and go with the whole euro style scene but was after some view opinions on what you think works best etc etc!!
Thanks,
ohh yeah pictures aswel!!!

eurostyle is a huge style in the vw world, i like it! my car is kinda euro i guess, low, wide wheels, smoothed, chromed etc.......
-
IMO pigeon holeing a "style" is counter productive.
I like what I like and I dont care what style it supposedly conforms to!
-
Yeah thats true i guess- just find it funny how all the things i like come under then 'euro style' idea hence my post lol, just wanted to see some examples etc, i really want some 18" chrome deep dish rims but there going to have a killer price tag on them! lolwill eventually get around to them though!
What do people prefere? hidden exhausts? or exposed? ive heard its a very 'euro style' thing to have hidden exhausts IMO im not 100% sure what i prefere! lol i think the R32 style exhausts look the tits, but as mine isnt one and i dont want to piss about too much with pipe work im thinking of getting a new back box thats is twin pipes, shouldnt cost me too much..but then im not sure whether to go with that and have the nice sound but keep them hidden behind bumper or get a bumper with cut out and expose the tips.. hmmm decisions lol!
Keep the posts coming!

The idea of a hidden exhaust has given me a idea actually
Also talking about exhausts theres a mk2 golf at the local halfords with a side exit exhaust but it looks like the standard pipe aswell ROFL

HaHa bless.. i seen a very sexy mk1 golf in black for sale..looks the tits n only caught a glimse cause went past on bus but it was debadged at front n looks the tits!!
Hmm im tihnking keeping exhaust hidden..but stick a lisghtly noiser one.. hmmm

i'm quite tempted by a side exit exhaust so it stops knocking on the rear beam
-
Anyone ??

I've got a MK1, it's fairly heavily modified, it's:
- got bonrath aftermarket colour coded bumpers
- been debadged & smoothed all over
- trim has been removed, filled & smoothed
- lightly tinted windows all round
- no rear windscreen wiper (smoothed)
- single wiper conversion on front windscreen (smoothed)
- aerial & aerial hole removed @ smoothed
- custom rear center aerial installed
- 5-6 " Single exhaust pipe @ rear (like suburu)
as for the wheels it's running on: 15" 8J Viper Rials with 195/50 Toyo Proxes T1-Rs all round, it did have TSW Stealths (7.5J) so it started abit euro.. but now i'm not quite sure what it is.. but at the end of the day I like it. It sounds nice, it drives nice, and it looks bloody fantastic i think.

I think the euro style is great. Its kinda been the influence in the changes Iv made to my mk3. low and smooth with deep shiny wheels. I i thought Id be keepin it longer Id have gone a lot further with it.
Thing is, its your car and your the one who has to walk up to it and say thats mine. If you like the euro styling then go for it!
-
Yeah what im thinking of doing to it is euro in a way but then again its just 'my style' lol i really realyl want to get some bk299s at soem poin tin chrome 18" they have a very slight lip on them i really liek them but i would say their really deep dish like euro rims but i like them so thats all that matter i spose!
Rhino you got any pix sounds nice!!

Looks smart mate!

I fancy some nice wide alloys on mine, drop it as much as poss, remove the plastic arch bits then smooth off both bumpers and the door strips and have them sprayed up to colour code it (all magic black)
Maybe change the front headlights to incorporate the bumper lights to smooth the front bumper totally.
Its its euro style fine by me. I just think it will look smart
