Title: Big bumper front

ive heard various things about fitting this,

do you have to jack up the engine

and do u have to drill a 20mm hole few cm's below the orignial bracket hole

I did this a few weeks ago but i didnt jack up the engine or drill any holes. get a mate to help you, lie under the car with a torch and get your mate to push the bumper in until the holes line up, then screw the bolt in, it takes a while the get them bolts to line up with the holes but you will get it eventually.

do they fit well ? what did u do about the foglights ?

depends on where you buy it from really. some 'copies' don't fit well but geniue bumpers do. Some bumpers come with foglights holes and some don't. i think you can just cut a hole if yours haven't got holes for foglights.

no mine are original bumpers with the holes cut in , but do u need bracketts for them or do the just clip in and also what about wiring them up and wheres the best place to get some

i have a pair of fog light brackets if you want them... although when u buy fogs off ebay etc. u normally get brackets with them (doh, talked myself out of a sale there.. oh well, owt to help a fellow dubber)

what about the ones off awesome gti and other sites on the net , do u think u get them with those fog lights if nt ill have them off u cheers
