these pics are old, since then the engine has been fitted, lifted from a mk2 jetta 1.8 16v.  I was up today helping him lower it 80mm, hopefully he got the gearbox fitted! its a sweet project, with any luck he's gonna help me with my mk2!

 Yeah ive been helping him, im the extra set of hands you sometimes need!  All the hard works been down to him though & the odd random geeza helping out if he gets stuck! he's not going to bother with bumpers, he had plans for chrome ones at one point, but realised the cost!

 i'll take a camera up this weekend if he's gonna be working on it & i'll say to him to get on here & get a thread started as i'm sure he's got lots of questions to be asking you guys too, he got the gearbox in but said the clutch wasnt right, plus he's been going on about a 5th injector????  :undecided: so i'm sure he'll be up for it.  His wee bro's done a few golfs over the years, i'm gonna ask him if he has any photos kicking around.
