Hi everyone

I just found this thread after I'd already posted in the Mk5 board!

I've just ordered an Edition 30 and am super excited about owning a Golf finally.

A little intimidated by all the people with classic Golfs mod-ed up to the nines.  Hope you guys don't look down too much on us 2007 edition fish.   :tongue:

My interesting intro story, 3 days after I ordered my Golf, this happened to my existing car in the January storms:

What are the odds of that? 

Safe to say I won't be parking the Golf near any trees in the near future.

(If a tree falls on my car and crushes it, does that make me carbon neutral for the year?)

No kidding.  It always felt like I was like driving a coffin on wheels.

Still I only paid £100 for it, so it was a good no claims investment.  :nerd:
