Title: New/Old Owner

Good Evening all,

New to the scene, but its my second time in with a Gti.
Used to run a Mk1 1.6 Gti on an X reg but the chassis was rotten and had to go to a someone that could repair it themselves as the costs were mounting....
But i've just sorted myself out with a Mk2 Gti to strip out and make into a track car.
Its already fairly stripped, on BBS rims and not in too bad condition.  Needs a bit of work, so i'll be after some advice soon i reckon....

Thanks very much.

Just been scanning ebay for a lowering kit or coilovers and they seem to be reasonably priced, thats about it for 'buys' before its ready for the road, hopefully....

Thanks guys, been away on courses for a month or so, back now and started work on the Gti too.
Getting some pics along the way so i think i'll start myself a projects and restorations thread soon...
Managed to rope a mate in too help me, and his mk2 is awesome, esp for inspiration.
