Title: mk3 tailgate lock - key doesnt turn - Help please

hi was wondering if anyone could help me out please.  i heard its a common problem but my key doesnt turn in the barrel for my tailgate.  Anyone kno how to fix this or will i have to buy a new barrell?  any help is apreciated..cheers

had the same problem.

take out the barrel and grease it up thats what i did and had no problems so far.
