Title: Where is my aerial on my 96 mk3 golf cl estate?

Hi,
 I've got a 1996 mk3 golf cl 1.8 estate and I've just got round to fitting a stereo, but couldn't find a usual co-axial type lead for the aerial. I took the dash apart and couldn't find anything, so then I thought I'd trace it back from the aerial, but I can't find an aerial! There's no blank on the wing and there's no roof mounted one - is it possible that my car never had one from the factory??? _ hope there is something simple I'm missing here, and if not has anyone got a roof mounted aerail for a mk3 golf for sale?

With a login name like Alburglar, are you sure your aerial hasn't been nicked? :grin:
