Im tad confused to which wheels come orignal with mk2 16v's? is it the 14 or 15 inch BBS RA wheels?
if its the 14's then where do the 15's come from? or where they some kind of factory upgrade?
-
16v came with a varity of wheels according to what options you choose, 14in are from early cars I think and 15in were fitted to the later ones as they became a standard size.

late 16v's, 90 onwards came with the 15 inch BBS RA's..
14 inch RA's were on Polo G40's I think.

My 89 16v came with gold/silver rim 14s RAs, as per the origional factory order..

Mine's 1988 and came with 14" BBS RA, although they have the VW logo on, not the BBS one. As yours is an H-reg it should have come with the 15"...

I stand corrected then, late mark 2's definately came with RA's, normally.
I have seen some with "silverstones" aka teardrops.
the 14 inch RA's, I am pretty sure did come on the polo G40's though too

The G40 has 13 inch BBS RA wheels
