Title: FSE Power boost valve

Seen one for 86 quid on demon tweeks , does anyone have one? or used one?
i really want to know are they worth buying

I have one on my Pug Mi16, but have not bothered on my Golf.

They do not give any extra power.

They do give a better throttle response but that about all.

If you have a 16v that doesnt bring power in so early then I would guess it could be worth it. Other than that I'd say no, spend the money elsewhere.

forgot to mention, would that mean that my 8 valver may benifit in the higher revs ?

Unless your car has been highly modified and has forced induction then i wouldent bother. For the price of £80 then an extra £50 getting them set up there just not worth it on a standard motor. If your suffering from poor throttle response then check out the tuning guide in the mk2 child board.

As for getting one for a valver. Sorry mate but its imposible. The K-jet injection doesent work like that. The equivelent on a valver though is the WUR mod.  :smiley:
