my boyfriend just informed me that someone has written 'nob head' in marker pen on my bonnet.
I am SO f**king pissed off
The sooner I move out of chivesville the better
Anyone had to take marker pen off before??
-
Fairly sure you could T-Cut it out. Bet they didn't spell it right either!
-
marker pen should come off with a good polish
you're lucky mine had paint stripper all over the bonnet - just it repaired a couple of week back
-
god how awful for you
Bloody little scrotes all need locking up!
I'm stuck in work so cant do anything about it right now, thats why I thought I'd get some advice first.
Nearest thing to tcut I've got it AG paint restorer, hopefully that'll work ok *fingers crossed*
-
a bit of elbow grease, and you should be OK
-
thats awful. what ever gives these pillocks the idea that they have a right to do something like that to other people's stuf. Sounds like a good excuse for a good clean and polish if nothin else (sorry, tryin to find a positive for ya)
-
You are right, if it would ever stop raining!!
-
my brothers rover (my old car) had the word c**t keyed into the bonnet on christmas eve night - his christmas present from the local chavs i guess.
he wasnt too chuffed when i woke him up and told him on christmas day morning. :undecided:

T- cut will take marker pen straight off, but you may be making hard work for yourself, especially if you car has a good paint finish, youll end up polishing the whole bonnet.. instead , just try waxing the bonnet instead, much less effort required, and better finish, most good quality waxes will take marker pen straight off. Old t-shirt material makes excellent polishing cloth.

I'd start with water, then soapy water, then WD40 etc. Depending on what kind of pen they used it might come straight off :)
Start mild and work your way up ;)
-
Sorry to hear that buddy.
Go over it with a drywipe marker this will help it off, then t cut and polish. Sorted!
-
I had this happen to me - a little petrol on a rag shifted it a treat. Then protect with a bit of ordinary polish. Better not smoke whilst yer doing this!
-
get the vodka out
perm pens are alcohol based so a little bit of vodka, nice strong stuff should get it off.
Bit on a rag jobs done

i try not to annoy my neighbours enough that they think this kind of thing is warrented..
-
I'll try the alcohol thanks, doesn't seem to have polished out completely
And I'm pretty sure I haven't annoyed the neighbours, it's just that most of the kids rounds ours have ASBOs and are mangey little scrotes who need locking up, and their parents sterilizing to stop them making more
-
a good cleaner wax, or compounding and waxing or a compounding with a highspeed buffer should do the trick any of the above are good suggestions be sure not to avoind swirles in the paint, they're not as easy to remove. Take your time and have a few drafts over the process and have fun. Truley sorry about the car, the little buggers should have a stretching of the lower parts Ba*#**Ds !! They showed no love for the dub..
-
finally got it off yesterday with two applications of t cut and one of polish (AG super resin polish, it is wonderful )
hopefully they wont be back as my bf (who is huge) managed to scare off a big group of them last night.... thank god I've got a Clifford so I know when they are near the car!
Think I made a bit of a swirl mark in the bonnet though :undecided: However, I've decided that this is the last straw, I'm getting a respray as soon as I can afford it and I'm living away from all the pikey scum!
Then I'll invest in a top notch car cover to keep it nice
Wouldn't have a cover now btw, It'd just get torched or graffitied

spray sum deoderant on it like lynx, tht gets marker pen off
