anything is possible if you have enough time/money/skill!

corrado dash in a mk2 is the most common. never seen a mk4 one.

how about a TT one? :) that is the hot one at the moment

unless the mk4 cabs have mk3 dashs that is actually a mk3 dash  ???

Snowballs has this weird bobbley feel to it unlike mine that's smooth.

Dash swaps are relietively easy. they just take time to get them right. Mine took about a week, but it wasn't a week of solid work. it was about a day a week over 6 weeks due to work and other things. also my car had to be back in a driveable state every night which probably slowed down things.

It took me about a day to cut it and get it fitting somewhere near
a night or so to do all the electric side of things. joining looms together mainly
3 hours or so to change the matrix's over with the help of my mum ;D
5 hours to remove the dash, cut the bar down, weld it in and replace the dash.
and loads of other fiddley bits I've forgot about

if you want to talk to me at all about my dash swap catch me on MSN: Dizzie@tripwyre.co.uk or give me a bell on 07967 130162 (orange)

I've got loads of pics of during the swap :)

yep mk4 cabs do indeed have a mk3 dash.  I think a mk4 cab is based on the mk3.

My mind is far too dirty for this thread... or golfgal did that intentionally!  ;D

Love the TT look and definately consider a dash change in the future when the funds are available.  If you're going to do it get as many pics and such as possible so that we can all benefit from the experience.  :)

I was talking about sinking my dash in another inch, but if I do that I'm going to create more problems underneath where all my air vents line up and things like that so it's staying put. I'm thinking about building some tweater pods that slot into the remaining holes near the windscreen to fill the holes :)

if you want any advice/guidance I've always got time gti89

blue, I think so. The TT dash is a lovely dash, but I still have a soft spot for the mk3 hence why I put a mk3 one in and no other  ;D
