Title: MAF ? where is it and what does it look like

With all these issues with people MAF's and cleaning etc I've decided to clean mine regardless (just to make sure it is tip top)

where is it and what does it look like ?

the maf itself is a sensor but i think what people are cleaning will be the pipe, it is in between the airbox and the air inlet on your engine. but im not sure, maybe cleaning the sensor is possible.
