right ive got a problem i bought a 1989 mk2 valver as a project in april last year and have since spent £1500 or so on it (ontop of what i paid for her) ie full stainless straight thru, engine work , gearbox all stripped and re-done(then tuned and pulling 139.4bhp) all that needs doing is mot ing and a few bits to do to the bodywork and was intending on giving it a coat of paint to freshen it up whilst getting rid of a bit of rust then putting it on the road, but due to unforseen circumstances i need to sell her due to space and other commitments so now my question is do i sell her as she is or do i break her up and sell on e-gay to gain some money

why dont you get the mot done do your best with the bodywork polishing it t-cutting whatever it needs
and sell it as whole car might get a good bit for it will sell better with mot on it
i dont think the parts will bring a awful lot of money

Argeed. There's lots of mk2's being broken these days, so it makes more sense to me if you tried to sell it with an MOT. As for the bodywork, you'd be suprised how much a spot of elbow grease adds to the value of a car... :)
