Title: Revs dropping when stopping

Hi All

          I have a problem with my MK2 Golf GTI 16v. Where I will be driving along fine and when I come to stop at a junction the revs donÂ’t stop at 800Rpm they drop to zero this has only started in the last two day.
           It seems to be fine for about 15-25 Minutes before it starts. I have replaced the idle stabilizing valve in the last 2 months due to another problem. (Or is it time to give up on the old girl? :cry: :cry:)

Any help would be happy received :smiley:.

turn the ignition on, and check the isv is buzzing for a start :)
