Title: gamma radio

just got a t reg polo with a vw gamma radio in it i drove the car home in the dark and the lights where on ion the radio but no display or sound the red light flashes when the car is off like an alarm can any one help also not sure if these are conacted but the heater dials do not light up also checked the fuse behind the glove box not sure which one it is but guessed and look fine please helppppppppppppppp :undecided: :undecided:

they are not connected, the heaters lighting will be powered by a small bulb behind them which will have blown, the radio problem sounds like a live feed problem, assuming you have tried every obvious way to actually turn it on!

In my gf's mk4 golf the illumination on the gamma radio is always on when the headlights are on regardless of whether the stereo is on or not. Conversely if the stereo is on without the headlights on the screen/buttons aren't illuminated.
I think that answers the question, whether the stereo actually works is a different matter, have you tried switching it on by pushing the volume control in???

yes tried everything to switch on sanburns but one of theses in and it was the same nothing
