Title: rear brake calipers

my car has just failed test on 14% efficient hand brake so was going to put mk3 calipers on do i need the mounting brackets to go with them also if i cant get golf ones what other ones will fit ie passat ibiza etc

most VWs & SEATs of around the same age will have them, just check the calipers, if they have a massive spring on the outside then they are the early type, if not they are the later MK3 type :)
You can use MK4 calipers, but you need a conversion brake hose to fit.  But they are alloy so lighter and wont rust :)
