Title: Anyone know how to?

Hi All,

Anyone know how to reset the service reminder indicator on a MK4 golf Gti 2.0 without taking it in to be done? and how to get to the 2 inner spark plugs?

Re resetting the service indicator, there should be instrucitons in your manual.  Mine is out in the car and cant be assed getting to post up but I'm sure I've seen instructions up on this forum in the past so try searching for it?   Failing that google it and see what comes up, its a common question.

Ive looked in my vw manual and i'm sure vw won't give out that kind of information otherwise everyone will be doing their own DIY.

I have seen something writen on google but it doesn't say for what year or MK? of golf.

It does tell you in the handbook (surprisingly!) not sure if the books are different depending upon the year of the car but for my 2002 model, the instructions are in book 3.1 Golf Controls and Equipment on pages 13 and 14.
