Title: Scuffed body coloured bumber
Post by: laney on 15 January 2007, 14:21
Whilst cleaning the gti yesterday I founbd 4 marks on it (very frustrating after only a month of ownership). One of these is what looks like a stone chip on the roof (bloody unlucky in my opinion ) which will hopefully touch up with some touch up paint (I've seen some on ebay for £4 plus postage - anybody know how much would the stealer charge for this?). The other three (2 stones at the front and one at the rear which appears to have been touched by somnething - shopping trolleys anyone? ) are in the plastic body coloured bumpers which . As these are plastic they dont look like they will just touch up as the plastic looks like it has been "gouged". Any ideas of how to remedy this?

Am now discovering that whilst diamond black looks brilliant in the showroom, its a bugger to keep clean and isnt very good at hiding chips!

Do you mind if I ask what you did to tidy up your bumpers?

I have the same issue whereby someone's scuffed my front bumper quite badly and I suspect that replacing the thing is going to be costly.

Cheers,

Ross
