Post by: antinora on 15 January 2007, 01:37
Hey guys i live in Australia and i own a Mk2 1991 Golf Gti.

It occurs when i have the car from full left lock and then as i go to straighten up i hear this knock sound and it sounds like its coming from the front left. Im not a mechanic or anything and i woul djust lik eto know what it is im hearing.

Thanks in advance guys

You won't have any on the rears mate unless it's a four wheel drive.

I had this after replacing the complete front suspention, only does it now & again.  I still dunno whats causing it, I suspect its summat to do with the front springs or top mounts perhaps, though I KNOW I put em back together properly.
