This has been asked a few times, and lots of opinions. If you have a budget in mind that would help others give you some good advice! Having a search could give you some answers too!

Like robster says depends on the £Â£Ã‚£ you have. Robster and I have both been looking and seeing what else we need.

The opinion was new springs, new shocks, new front mounts. Check your bump stops, rear mounts and dust boots and reuse if they are OK.

Other factors than price are how much you want to drop it, can go 35, 40, 60mm or adjustible (adjustible cost more).

I am going towards some spax springs and shocks but might change my mind.

totally agree with everything said there.

top mounts, bump stops and dust boots are always a good investment when changing shocks and springs.

ive got no idea what shocks / springs are on my mk3 at the moment, but im lookin at new top mounts and spax -60mm springs as i want it lower, IMHO i cant fault spax springs, had them on my last car and gave a remarkable smooth ride!!!

Keep a look out for a good set of coilovers you can slam it down by 80mm and there adjustable my Vr6 was running on FK AK road race coilovers I paid over £400 for them but it was like being in a go cart on rails flippin mint round the bends.
