Title: Lowering...
Post by: gtitdi on 12 January 2007, 22:36
I've just got some eibach pro-kit lowering springs for my Golf but hadn't planned on replacing the shocks. After reading a few posts I'm beginning to wonder if it is recomendable to change the shocks at the same time? The car's only done 65 000 miles. What does anyone reckon?

If they do need to be changed, which ones would you recommend that would do the job? - preferably not too heavy on the wallet!

get new shocks, standard shocks on lowered springs gives a bouncy/poor ride.

uprated gas shocks from gsf for about £120 boge brand, or Weitec for £180 from c&r enterprises.
