Title: Mystery wire

I have found a wire in the engine bay that is not connected and it seems to me that it should be. The wire is green with a black stripe and comes out of the loom near the earthing bracket on the distributer.........
Any Ideas? :undecided:

8v or 16v 16v is a temperature sender I think :unsure:

if its a 16v it sounds like the oil temp sensor. there is a temp sensor on the back of the head just above no4 cylinder exhaust outlet
