Title: mk4 seats in a mk3 gti.
Post by: mase on 10 January 2007, 09:14
bonjourno...

quick question, will they fit?

how much work would be needed? i.e: new subframes needed, or will they bolt straight in?

also while we are here, are there any VAG seats (a3, leon, etc) that would be pretty straight forward to fit?

cheers....

Hi i drive a mark 3 Golf with mk 4 seats in the front they do fit but a little welding is required. You will  need to weld the old brackets out of the mark 4 on floor of your mark 3. Also the seats on the mark 4 have wheels on the bottom for runners the mark 3 doesn't have this.
