Title: GRINDING NOISE!!!
Post by: dazzy b on 08 January 2007, 23:33
hi, can anyone help, i have a mk4 1.8t 80k, only tonight the car started to make a grinding noise, as if the front wheel was hitting the stoneguard but ive checked it out and its fine, i continued to drive the car and the noise has now stopped, can anybody shed any light on this? thanks.

its possible you had some grit / dirt between the brake pads and discs and it's now worked itself free  :undecided:
