Hope this is cool to post http://www.matey-matey.com/big_bumper_conversion.shtml and yes its very easy 4 bolts under the car and the bumpers slide on and off , by the way i did not support the engine as said in that guide and i found no problems removing/fitting

Your quite right Roy, there is no need to support the engine, and yes they are as easy as that - 4 bolts and shebang, you've a big bumpered Mk2!

make sure the big bumpers come with the proper brackets as the small bumpers ones dont fit. as i discovered when putting them on my driver a few years back

huge +1!

If you're after indicators for the BB then i've got an orange set for sale and some white ones (like in my signature) in for sale section.

You'll need the 4 (2 on front 2 on back) little slide clips that the bumper slides on to. And probably an indicator loom unless you're handy making your own.

thing to watch when removing mk2 bumpers is that you undo the bolts (17mm i think ?? ) very gently... too hard and fast and you can crack the corroded nutt that pressed/welded to the bumper frame loose.... then its a right @rse of trying to drill out the old bolt and stuff.. hopefully its all good and it will come out easily... this is just from my experience!!
