Hi Guys,
Just wondering can this be done without major work?
I have seen a set of 16" C-class alloys (5 stud) available and was wondering who would do the hub adapters for this and what sort of money would they cost me?
All feedback appreciated.
Kind regards,
Bonz.

You are needing to adapt 5/112 wheels to 4/100 fitment. Adapters for this are not readily available because the general view seems to be that it is not safe. You could use two sets of adapters to go say 5/100 first but that is a shocking bodge really.
Most Merc wheels are also pretty low ET - say 30. So once you fit your adapter you are at a very low ET 5-ish which equals major arch work.
You could switch to 5/100 hubs and do it that way - probably the best way really.

another thing to think about is the central bore.....
i dont kno wat it is for mercs, would it be the same as VW's and audi's... or possibly the same as BMW?

Can it be drilled out by a local engineering firm?

Merc centre bores are all huge at about 66mm, I fitted some merc rims on my T25 as they were the only ones that didn't require bore machining. From memory vw/audi centre bore is something like 57mm.
