Title: ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

My speedo is on the blink on long jouneys! It will read the mileage to around 50 miles but gets stuck afterwards & won't reset with pressing the trip button. But whenever you stop it & start again from cold it will always read the miles??? I only noticed this when i went back to lincoln over the new year. Otherwise i'd never notice as work isn't far enough for the clock to stop working??

I assume its the digital type.
Does the analogue speedometer also fail after 50 miles?
Does the main mileage stop increasing or is it only the trip mileage which failed?
