Right iv'e been looking for the last 3 day now for one had some stupid quotes i.e longlife £500 lol and some very good ones £220 but it's only 409 grade stainless steel...
now im looking for 309... can anyone point me in the direction of a company who wont rip me off im willing to pay as much as £350 wich i think is a good price for a manifold..
any help would be appreciated thanks...

Just look in the threads you searched and ring all the companies that were mentioned. Only they know how much they will actually charge you for the work. They may still be feeling christmassy.

m8t iv'e phoned about 20 company's locally now and people from bristol and manchester lol
somone must have one on there golf???
anyone....

tbh a good quality one is going to cost around the £400 mark.
It's the hardest part of the system to do, and also requires a lot of fitting time, as you need to keep offering it up to the car to make sure it isn't going to hit anything when the engine moves and when it heats up.
Powerflow use 309, ring them, and see how much they will do one for. Oh and i have one of theirs on mine.

im in a lazy mood today have you got the number please :D:D#
p.s just phoned them they dont do manifolds lmao :S anyone else???

does anyone know of a miltek dealer either in wales or the other side of the 7 bridge???
-
They are a franchise so they let people use their name, it could be that the franchise i got mine from do them and run under the poweflow name.
Try looking through a phonebook and finding one in the local area.

Have you considered ordering from other countries? I got a S/S manifold from http://www.performance-cafe.com (http://www.performance-cafe.com). The exchange rate is good at the moment and sometimes even after import duties it still works out cheaper. The delivery prices quoted on the websites can sometimes be reduced a LOT less if you give them a call. There is also http://techtonicstuning.com/ (http://techtonicstuning.com/)

my only advice is, make sure you're engine mounts are in top condition, if not get new stiffer ones. this will stop the engine moving round as much and reduce the chance of cracking that spanky bit of pipework.

I think Awesome GTi do one, but i'd have no idea if it was any good or not, might be worth checking out.
