Title: diamondaudio s600 to golf mk4?
Post by: dubaudio1 on 31 December 2006, 18:38
hi i have a pair of diamond audio hex s600 components fit too my golf mk3 at the moment. as i have a golf mk4 know i want to swap the speakers.

This is the Mounting Depth/Diameter: 2.3 in. / 5.4 in.

will they fit front and back door (i have a 5 door car) with just replacing them or i will have to change something?

Also i have a power acoustic amp (4 x 100w rms) to run this components and was thinging of changing to JL 300/4 amp (75w x 4 rms).i`m more after quality than power as the components are superb and i`m thinking the amp don`t giving them want they need.
Is this good quality amp?

regards thomas

the depth possibly, good car audio shops have books with these things wrote down if you ask them they will tell you but the worst you would need is some small pods and these are easily and cheaply made, the amp would be a good amp being JL so if you have the money to try it give it a go but if its ok like it is, leave it.

I have decided to sell all of the ICE and leave the original one in the mk4 as IÂ’m going to sell the car in about 6 months time. Anyone interesting in FULL ICE system please click http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=52329.0 (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=52329.0)
