Title: Fuel injectors, cleaning of !
Post by: Uruk Hai on 30 December 2006, 16:08
I've just been given a engine and gearbox from a 92 8V and have begun to srip it down, my question is, is it worth getting the injectors cleaned and fitted into my car or does it not make that much difference to fuel consumption or performance ?

it probably won't make much, if any difference to fuel economy or performance but its worth doing. a guy i know ultrasonicly cleans injectors and the before and after read outs prove how much crud can accumulate over 15 years.
