Title: 5 Stud Hubs
Post by: Maltloaf on 19 January 2004, 12:38
Hi,

I hope to upgrade my Audi wheels and would like to put the 5 spokes from the Audi on my Golf but of course these are 5 stud.

Is it possible to fit a 5 stud hub to a mk2 golf GTI?

Which car would be the best donor car if this is possible or is it just as easy to buy an adaptor?

Thanks

Matt B.

You can put some H&R hub adaptors that bolts onto your existing hubs.....

aye but the hub adapters will increase the offset by about 20mm so they'll scrub like f**k

scrub the black arches you mean. If lowered?

Ive heard you can fit Passat hubs on the MK2 to convert it into 5 stud ???

lowered or unlowered it'll scrub like hell

reason people can run porsche rims with the hub adapters is because porsche wheels are et55 or something, then the hub adapters push them out to et35 which is ideal for Dubs

duno bout the passat hubs
