Title: Suspension and Brakes
Post by: davidsmith on 29 December 2006, 20:05
Whats the best compromise here; I have a very nice origianl Mk2 Gti but I want to re build all the suspension and brakes, I dont want to spoil the originality and just want to restore its original specification perhaps a bit firmer - and mayeb uprate the brakes - whats the best compromise. I will probably end iup with 15" wheels on the car finally.

Many thanks

find a nice set of g60 280mm disks and calipers they will fit under the 15's and look the bollocks and also stop the bollocks too :D

Got to be a little careful with G60 brakes as not all 15" wheels will clear them.
