Title: Mk2 golf 8v engine conversion

Hi new on forum. had a look but didn't find much. im looking to put a mk3 2litre bottom end in and just wondering if the 1.8 8v head and box fit straight on. also wondering if it actually helps performance wise. its the later digifant pb engone code. thanks
