Post by: GemGTI on 27 December 2006, 22:00
change the mileage on mk1 clocks? I know its illegal but I want my new clocks to display the correct mileage if poss. I would actually be adding miles onto my new clocks! New clocks are displaying 87k actual milage of car is 121k. Any ideas anyone?

Cheers,

Gem xx

ignore it ?

erm you could take the clocks apart and turn em by themselves

or you could get an old speed cable and an electric drill attach said 2 together and away u go

hey gem, you can move them your self but its a bit of a ball ache to do! you need to lift a little tab on the clocks and then push them round! good excuse to fit white dials as the clocks will be in pieces (if you like that kind of thing of course!) i had to fit mk2 clocks in mine, my millage is wrong. says 75k but more like 180k!!
