Title: how far is speedo out?

i am running a mark 2 on 195 45 15s, ho far is speed likely to be out? any ideas from experience? think the boys in blue have caught me this morning doing 50 in a 40 argh! cheers

shouldn't be much out 45/15s aren't too far out
if it is is prob not your wheels

Have the clocks ever been replaced, and/or has a white dial kit been fitted?

If you're sure the clocks have not been messed with, whats the max speed on the speedo?  Check the gear on the end of your speedo cable (gearbox end)

120 or 160mph = red
140mph = white

Be careful though, the gear likes to fall off into the box!

its red mate as i have already replaced that cog that always drops in, they are probably original clocks on 200k, they have 120 on them cheers  :smiley:
