Hi guys, new to the forum, i dont have a mk3 golf, i have a mk1 caddy pickup. My dad has a mk3 golf gti and the rear wiper has packed up on it over the last couple of days. Is there a common problem with the rear wipers which can be fixed easily????

hi
possible that the wires that come out of the top of hatch and go through the roof are broke have a look behind the rubber that protects them.

If you push the stalk, can you hear the relay clicking? If so the issue is proably with the motor or wiring, if not try another relay and if that don't help the stalk.
I asssume you've tried another fuse already? ;)

cheers for the replys, no i havnt checked the fuses yet, which number fuse is for the rear wiper? Is there a fuse just for it, or does it run anything else aswell? cheers
-
just the wiper I think, it should be written on the rear of the fusebox cover :)

Ok i.ve checked the fuse and thats ok, i dont hear any clicking so im guessing the relay might of gone. Where do i find the relay for the wiper??
