Title: buzzing idle control valve?

hi any one know if the idle control valve should buzz and vibrate? it only does it when the ignition is on the second click and stops when the cars started the car runs perfectly i tryed another valve didnt buzz but it ran like a pig so stuck to the buzzing one

Yep. Mine is louder than my dad's but apparently he's having trouble with the car when its cold so i guess the quieter it is the less it works!

thats ok then never noticed it before i had the ignition on checking my rad fan needs a new thermo switch got one from gsf its got 2 pins mine has 3 so wont be doing that today

aye buzzing from the isv is gooood , when they clog up with oil then they jam and stop then the car will run rough on cold start. worth cleaning them out if ya havent imo . check other threads for info to do this.

the ISV should still buzz & vibrate with the car running. if it doesnt then it is loosing the signal momentarily which then stops the ISV running until you stop & restart

loose connection on the ISV temp sender is usually the cuplrit for it
