Title: tyre problem
Post by: ac on 24 December 2006, 11:51
The front right hand tyre on my mk3 golf appears to lose pressure much quicker than the other three. Normally needs to be adjusting on a weekly basis, which I appreciate maybe the norm, but losing 50% on one tyre ? Not sure if its a puncture as deterioration is not immediate. Could it be linked to the steering ? I'm due to have the care serviced in a couple of months time so would you have any thoughts ? Cheers

Sounds to me like you have a slow puncture. Just take it to any garage that deals with wheels ( ) and they should be able to sort you out.

you might also find it could be corrosion where the tyre seats on the rim. I had the same problem and thaths what it turned ou to be.
