Hi,
There is always either a good or bad reason for looking for advice on forums I find, today I found this forum because....
I picked up my first VW Golf yesterday !
First things first, I'm Retronana...live in Colchester..married...work for a DVD publisher as UK Sales Manager..Hello !
It's an R32, Diamond Black with leather & Sat Nav, very pleased :)
I've looked though the supplied manuals and I don't seem to have any instructions for the Sat Nav, should it be be inside the R32 manual ?
If so I'll contact the dealer and get them to supply me with one.
I know sometime these things can be downloaded as PDF files, If anyone can link me up to one I would be grateful
Regards
Retronana

Hey up mate
any pics of her yet ?
You assume its a she ?
I've never met a woman that goes like this car.....;)
I'll sort some pics out when (he) has had a bit of Retronana care and attention...
Any recommendations on wax ?
I'm close to the end of the bottom of some Carrub wax that I purchased at Halfords, it was fine for my last car....chucked a bit on the R32...doesn't seem to go on/come off as well as the previous car :(
Any Diamond Black paintwork car wax experts got a favorite recommendations ?

Thanks for the tip, should I post it in the MK5 or Garage sections ?
I've no idea what type of Sat Nav it is...so its not very easy to google search for tips, the last car had an RT3 unit...which was easy to find infomation on :)
As for the DVD's, nothing too flash...not a Hollywood major...our market is the Sport & Fitness...and I think this year we should be the biggest publisher in this area in the UK and Europe ;)
Thanks for the kind hello's from forum members :)

The Mk5 section is probably your best bet, peeps with similar problems usually.
