Title: Indicators

The indicators have stopped working on my wife's Mk4 golf.
They will work every now and again, but either flash really quickly or not at all (all the bulbs are o.k)

I'm confident that it's not a problem with the indicator Stalk as it has the same problem when the hazzards are switched on.

Is this most likely to be a failed relay unit? and if so does anybody know where it's located?

I have found the fault. The problem was with the Hazzard warning switch which is also the relay unit. I swapped it over with the one out of my Golf and this fixed the problem. So just need to order a new hazzard switch.....hopefully this should be fairly inexpensive :undecided:

Yeah I too had a similar fault!! A right pain in the ass!!!  :cry:
