Title: 19'' on mk3

can i put 19'' alloys on my mk3, if so how do i go around doing this? and who do i contact..

nothing's impossible, but I'd have to say no. the overall diameter of the wheel would be too large, so your speedo would overread by a fair amount. if you still want to carry on, you'll need to get the arches rolled and probably pulled, plus you won't be able to lower it that much.

And to be honest thy look comical on anything bigger than17" They just dont look right IMHO.

you'd need something like a 25 profile tyre to keep anything like the same rolling radius.
i don't think there is such a thing.
and it would look silly.

and if there was such a thing as 25 profile (there is but only on lambo and ferrari like 10 inch wide beasts) they would be more per corner than the wheels, and as above it would look like it was on stilts.

19"s on a MK4 look a little bit out,never mind a mk3 Get some nice 17s and some coilovers and slam it on its ass  :laugh:

probably cost the same

exactly what mine needs when i can get the £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£ till then there is no point stuggling to do it for cheap, done it before, gets you nowhere! quite literally sometimes.
